Interview on Team Rock and Colne Blues Festival

It’s been a busy couple of weeks since the EP launch at the 100 Club. Highlights include a couple of solo acoustic gigs, being interviewed by Big Boy Bloater on the Blues Magazine Show and playing the 25th anniversary of Colne Blues.

It was great to pop in to Team Rock’s base in Southwark, London, and chat to Bloat about the new EP. We also discussed some of my influences, discussing Peter Green, Jimmy Page, BB King and Magic Sam. The conversation continued late into the night at the local pub as well – I felt the effects the following morning!

Next up was a trip north to the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival in Colne. I first played this festival back in 1999 when I was a teenager and it’s always good to head back. There was an extra twist this year as we had a couple of special guests sit in – Chris ‘Biff’ Hartley and Danny Handley on guitar plus Danny Rock on bass. Superb bunch of players. Regulars Jim Brazendale on drums and Tom Brundage on harmonica also played a blinder.

In other updates, the EP is now available across most digital formats including iTunes and Spotify. Check it out here
