The Dutch artist Theo Van Doesburg experimented with poetry, design, architecture and even advertising. Tate Modern’s massive retrospective ‘International Avant-Garde: Constructing a New World’ opens this week and this Friday (5th Feb) I will be micro-blogging on my visit to the exhibition. This is a continuation of the real-time review I conducted of the State of the Arts Conference (see previous post). I am interested in accelerating the processes with which one communicates responses to exhibitions and other visual arts content. As opposed to the lag and delay associated with traditional means of reviewing, new technology affords us faster methods of networking ideas. Over the coming weeks and months I will be conducting a series of these reviews via my Twitter page. Tune in at 2pm on Friday for my live-review of Theo Van Doesburg here: JackJHutchinson
