Last week we completed the recording of our forthcoming EP ‘Get It Back’. The last track we laid down was  ‘Hey Hey Hey’, an americana number unlike anything else on the record. You can hear the rough mix on Vimeo below.

We are now mixing the 6 songs with a view to sending out some early copies to press and media within the next 2-3 weeks. A couple of the tracks have been getting regular airplay, including ‘Wake Up’ on Big Boy Bloater’s Blues Magazine Show and ‘Get It Back’ which has been played on Dave Watkin’s Blues and Roots show. Dave also gave the record a spin at Hebden Bridge Blues Festival last weekend. I’m so grateful for their support and encouragement.

Next up is a short break from band gigs before gearing up for the EP launch in July. I’ll still be slinging my guitar around the usual blues jams across London and can be caught most Saturday’s at Niall Kelly’s acoustic jam at Ain’t Nothin’ But.
