I will be participating in the Locus Arts organised group exhibition Coast at the Horsebridge Centre, Whitstable, Kent later this year. The show will feature a wide variety of work in different media, including ceramics, painting, collage and drawing. I am really looking forward to what should be an interesting event and collaborating with Locus Arts again. I have previously exhibited with them at the same venue last year in On Reflection and it was fantastic.

In the meantime check out this performance from the Whitstable Biennale 2008 by Nicole Mollett & Chris Reed and the Big Fish Group. Entitled The Haunting, it features the spirits of Whitstable’s past returning to their old haunts. Lurking amongst the alleys and groynes apparitions from a parallel dimension will confront the present. Notions of the past informing the present are something I deal with in my own practice and will no doubt be a feature of the work I present later this year.
